If the swim is holding you back, this is for you
This session is built for triathletes whose swim is the piece that keeps creating frustration, doubt, or race-day stress.
New or stuck
You’re new to triathlon, don’t know how to improve your swim, or you can finish the swim but it feels harder than it should.
Done with random advice
You’ve tried tips, videos, or workouts and still feel stuck — and “just swim more” hasn’t solved the problem.
Looking for local guidance
You want clear coaching and useful practice near Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Erie, Youngstown, or Western PA.
What you’ll learn
You don’t need a perfect stroke to make progress. You need to know what to work on and how to practice it.
Coach Amy and Stacy will walk you through:
- The most common technique issues that slow triathletes down
- How the right drills drills help you feel better body position, breathing, balance, and timing
- Our newly released FLYT Swim Drill Videos on YouTube
- Why swimming harder is not the same as swimming better
- How to choose drills that match your current skill level
- How to use short, focused practice sets instead of guessing your way through workouts
- What to look for when watching our swim drill videos so you can apply them correctly
- How FLYT Performance supports triathletes through clinics, resources, video, and coaching.
Why drills matter
Drills are not busywork.
Done well, drills give you feedback you can feel. They help you slow down one part of the stroke, notice what is happening, and build a better movement pattern.
That matters because many adult triathletes are strong and fit, but still fight the water. The issue is often not effort. It is position, timing, breathing, or tension.
In this session, you’ll learn how to use our FLYT drills with purpose, so your swim practice becomes less frustrating and more productive. You will be the first to view our NEW YouTube FLYT Drill Resources.
