Coach Devin Javens brings a unique blend of elite-level experience and technical coaching expertise to FLYT Endurance athletes seeking precision and performance in the water. As a former NCAA national qualifier and team captain at Denison University, Devin played a key role in leading the team to a 3rd-place finish at the NCAA D3 Championships — a testament to her leadership and competitive mindset.
Devin holds a Master’s degree in Exercise & Sport Studies. Currently, she coaches at the Division I level as an assistant at Bucknell University, bringing a high-performance lens to every session. She has also served as Head Swim Coach at Smith College as one of the youngest NCAA coaches in the nation!
With extensive experience leading open water clinics and working with triathletes of all levels, Devin is passionate about helping endurance athletes translate pool skills into open water confidence. She specializes in breaking down swim mechanics, improving efficiency, and applying data-driven insights to help athletes swim smarter and faster — whether targeting time goals, Kona qualification, or simply mastering technique.
At FLYT, she coaches athletes who value details, crave progress, and are ready to evolve their swim with purpose and precision. She also services our virtual video swim analysis program.
